Franck Ribéry

His hometown of Boulogne-sur-Mer is allegedly thinking of putting up a giant metal statue of him. Would it attract tourists?

"S'ils ne trouvent que ça (un portrait géant de Ribéry, beurk) pour 'valoriser' la ville, c'est grave..."

Poor thing, I'm sure all those Gary Neville look-a-little-likey slurs must make his life a living hell. Let's hope Mourinho rubs salt in his wounds.

Is this statue another birthday present for Monsieur Ribéry by any chance? Boulogne-sur-Mer's City Council should go to Madame Fifi in Paris to get this sorted out. Her girls are all legal and are rather good at metal sculpting.

I'm sure they could erect something for him if they put their heads together.
