the Universal

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Yes. They called him Frankenstein when he played for Marseille.

Zinedine Zidane is a god.

Well, normally when it comes to France, the French or French citizens of Algerian decent, I'd dismiss them out of hand. But on Zinedine Zidane I can't disagree.

This is good!

Who cares? Let's talk about the fight!
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Is it good? I suppose it's part of the long therapeutical treatment and a step in the right direction towards recuperation and regaining my once Francophile tendancies. Alas, however, I might have Général de Gaulle as an avatar, have his words as my signature, agree that Zizou is a god and still enjoy the odd glass of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but I fear that there is such a long long way to go yet.

I care, passionately, just like a French person discussing science versus religion over a mouldy croissant, a cold cup of Café au lait and packet of a gauloises blondes. You want to talk about the fight? Would you like to take this outside, sir and we can discuss it?

Then monsieur, I accept your challenge. But in honour of the République and my fellow French citizens, I am afraid that I'll be forced to run in the other direction before you or I have time to draw our duelling pistols.

Can't we just slap each other with our white gloves?

No, it's Lord Darcy Pue from a 60s British Carry On film. I believe this is the chap, aka the Le Comte de Frou Frou, you are looking for with a sausage that looks suspiciously like a horse's willy.
