the Universal

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Ey Up! Has anyone on here heard of The Universal? They make music in a similar vein to The Jam and The Small Faces. They're putting an album out on the 17th of May and to celebrate this they've got together with Indie Guitar Co to give away a custom made guitar.

Didn't The Who do the Union Jack and arrow thing one or two years ago?

The young Roger Daltrey looks like Bastian Schweinsteiger.

I used to love The Who up to and including Quadrophenia, not so much since though.
Bingley Hall, Stafford 1980 (ish) is still one of the best gigs I've been to.

Not as dumb looking, though. IT's not for nothing that his name (almost) means pig-mounter

No haircut will hide that dumb head, though.
Although he was instrumental in preventing Gladbach from winning against them at home (MG) last week.

Did Bayern sign Ribéry so he wouldn't feel lonely?

It was a 'cousins' deal. "I demonstrate talent, you will sign my 'cousin' later!"

Ribery is actually of French pig-farming descent.

Ribery looks like a pig farmer or he should be swinging from bells. Didn't he have a life-threatening car accident or something when he was younger.

Personally, I always admired Zinedine Zidane. Apart from being a particularly good football player, head butting or having fisticuffs with people for calling their relatives whores is great for male role models in my book.
