I don't know if this band is known or not - I am guessing not -
After seeing the Cowboy Junkies in Ani DiFranco's refurbished church now concert hall (only mentioning this because there actually is a few things of interest in this economically devastated city of Buffalo) I made it in time to check out Phantogram

If you don't mind the fact two people make all the music - it is a good band for fans of Cocteua Twins, maybe trip hop, and New Wave.
