According to my essential evening reading "British Employment Law in 2010" (a rather exciting novel I must say), most adult "workers" get the minimum wage if they:

• are working legally in the UK
• are not genuinely self-employed
• wave their tackle at Black Francis

The current rate is £5.80 per hour for "workers" aged 22 years and older. I think you'll find that's more than five bucks at current exchange rates.

Times are tough. I was just trying to help out Dr. Cheese but if he feels he's above five bucks then I'll just have withahip do it for free.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I've still got my pride you know!
And you know that I'll pick up
Every time you call
Just to thank you one more time

The night of the fight, you may feel a slight sting. That's pride fucking with you. Fuck pride. Pride only hurts, it never helps.

“Great moments... are born from great opportunity. And that's what you have here, tonight, boys. That's what you've earned here tonight. One game. If we played 'em ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not tonight. Tonight, we skate with them. Tonight, we stay with them. And we shut them down because we can! Tonight, WE are the greatest hockey team in the world. You were born to be hockey players. Every one of you. And you were meant to be here tonight. This is your time. Their time is done. It's over. I'm sick and tired of hearing about what a great hockey team the Soviets have. Screw 'em. This is your time. Now go out there and take it.”

Hockey's for girls.

How'd you like that little kid who gave a Red-Soxified version of that speech at Fenway?

That was one of the most excruciating and embarrassing thing I've ever seen in my life. But I did enjoy when the kid yelled "SCREW 'EM." There was a lot of backlash about having a little boy yell "screw 'em" in front of a national audience.

I can see his "speech" has done little to help the Sox so far this season....

I'm surprised. I thought he did a good job and I'm a Yankee fan.

At least you're not Baltimore.

Me thinks a new Over the Wall topic is in order.

What would you do for a Klondike Bar?
