McLaren dead

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I'd say RIP but I always thought he was abit of a tit
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Was going to say he was an ass...he was. Stole the antz from Adam because they were compliant. tried to make Anabella take off her clothes all the time.

My condolences to his family, nonetheless. Somebody loved that asshole.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

Yes, he was. But look at it this way, without Malcolm McLaren, there probably would never have been the Sex Pistols, and without the Sex Pistols, there probably would never have been the Bunnymen or a great many other bands of that era.

Looking at the Bunnymen now maybe that wouldnt have been such a bad thing.

I'm kind of with scouser (tit-wise) though as a PR type bloke he was pretty good - all that scamming, not to mention appropriation of other peoples talent etc. According to the news lydon 'has led the tributes, saying 'he was always entertaining''. ho ho. hipsters going to put up buffalo gals video aren't you?

the NME has just restyled itself presumably in an effort to sell more copies, though it looks the same to me. However, what luck for them that mclaren should snuff it at just about the same time.

I always thought of McLaren and post Matlock Sex Pistols as a bit of a joke.

I'm sure Kounelaki, Kook and Crystal Daze all saw this one

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Wasn't he the Swede who managed England?
