A new era has begun.
It was very bizzare and offensive when Peter/or Management posted about the Bunnymen's future and their relation to the hardcore fan base right before the Fountain came out. I wonder if Ian or Will were even aware of that.
The Bunnymen have released 1 album in about 5 years and yet this forum keeps chugging along from the looks of things. I think it's clear that this forum is more than just about the Bunnymen.
Personally, I wish the band would just break up at this point. I'm tired of getting hyped for each new album and seeing diminishing returns (Siberia being a semi-exception). The thing that's frustrating from my perspective is Will is clearly still capable of creating very cool and interesting music but the Bunnymen (ie, Ian) clearly are not that interested. When Ian is calling all the shots and Will just doesn't seem interested it's time to call it a day.
The new stuff just doesn't seem to have much staying power for obvious reasons. Other than money, I'm finding it hard to see why they even release new music, especially when after a month of a new album's release, Ian (and whoever is interviewing him) is back to talking about OR or HUH, etc. Just depressing.

I will be sending them films I have made of the most obscure, underrated and greatest live bands/performers in history. When they see even their Buxton "Shine So Hard" footage rendered trivial in comparison, it will not matter if they hate my guts, they will beg me to film. But they had better be good.
If you want evidence, private message me and I will invite any of you you round to my home for a screening. You can have a go on my quantum predictor as well.
In the unlikely event that they do not accept this privilege, further options are;
(1) Use the vast wealth from predicting the stock market at 100% accuracy with the predictor to sign the band and buy up the BOF, turning it over to the stewardship of Villiers Terrace.
(2) Emotional blackmail: Predict every crime and natural disaster, and then threaten to suspend this service until they let me film, in which case it will all be their fault. I will be using this sanction to become a benevolent world dictator in any case.
(3) If they still hold out, I will get the secret of rejuvenation and eternal youth from the future and give it to Mac and Will only if they let me film. Mac would probably hold out, but when the bald patch at the back of his head gets too big for a comb-over he will have to give in. It will be great to hear that operatic wail again.
When I sign them, I will get Noel Burke and Les back,appoint John Lever as the drummer, rejuvenate Mac and appoint Bill Drummond as their manager.

It's not your mum-your using DivaDiana's (recent) passport photograph without permission. It's been a few years since that photograph on the shore, and bathing in all that sunlight has not been good for her skin. I stay out of the sun, so I'm fairly well preserved for fifty. Not that it matters much for men.
