Probably much reduced chances by mentioning being banned from BOF and then indicating that you want to ask them if you can do something. I can quite imagine de management reading a polite letter or e-mail from any of us and quickly looking for the nearest waste paperbin or trash/spam on their e-mail inbox. Thinking about it, sending an e-mail with the heading "Enlarge your penis", "Get the girls hot" or "My name is Habbas Mababa Jr from Nigeria and I have a business proposition kind sir" might have more chance of being responded to than from something from us.

Lets face it apart from the self-appointed Bunnymen 'clique' who take great delight in being recognised and sharing a brandy with Peasy after a gig the management have no interest in dealing with the 'nitty-gritty' of fandom.They keep their distance so any request is likely to be met with a no.Thats their choice and I respect it.We get told about tickets etc.. so thats fine.

What I really cant understand is why BOF has ostrasized itself to a point where they have very little people posting.???

The BOF is pointless. They don't even post news there. They should discontinue it and let the fan forums flourish.

It's one thing to keep their distance and that's probably for the best but the open condescension for fans and referring to us as fucking losers is bush league. I've tried to avoid personal attacks on anyone involved with the Bunnymen and have had cordial communication with Peter in the past but it's gotten to the point that it affects my love for the band. Are Mac and Will fine with us being referred to as fucking losers? Someone like KoK being singled out for derision by a representative of the band? Are they cool with half ass tours that focus heavily on Pennsylvania of all places?

No offense to Pennsylvania of course but I didn't know it was the US Post-Punk Mecca.

It's just damned depressing. Mac still going on about Bono and Chris Martin and my beloved Will speaks about being in the Bunnymen with pretty much the same enthusiasm I feel when the missus makes me do chores around the house.

I'm voting for 2 or 3. I could see Ian being oblivious (#1), but not Will. He's very internet savvy but I can't see him as being indifferent.
