It's official. Sounds like they're planning a BIG family. Image

Mac has just become a father again with the arrival of baby daughter Dusty May, his first child with partner Zoe Devlin of Alabama 3.

What kind of name is Dusty May? I can only think of Dusty Bin, the mascot character from the UK gameshow 3-2-1. There appears to be a US assistant basketball coach called Dusty May, but he's a bloke. These musicians and their hippy child names.

Maybe Dusty as in Dusty Springfield? It's a name destined to provoke playground taunts once she starts school.

That's true ... but when I was little, I would've gladly traded my little brother for an non-teasable last name. Now, no

That article seems to be a gathering of various quotes from other interviews with Ian in the last 6 months.

The Liverpool Echo also announce these shows but do not tag any of Ians rantings nor do they mention Ians new family.

He comes across as bitter and trying to prove himself in that article and sounds like a right loser. Why he slags off Coldplay leaves me wondering as he has used that relationship so to his advantage and they are always so gracious and respectful to him.

A man of his talent and wit should really not have to sink so low as too continually slag other artists - especially at 50.
He would of been drunk when these comments were made.

I wonder how well these shows will sell as it sounds like a desperate attempt to recapture youth and glory and cash in on the Ocean Rain shows success.

As for starting a big family well lets hope for the best on that one...

Aye, Frank has the truth of it.

Well she is in a band called Alabama 3.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Yeah, it sounds like this article is a clip job, not Mac coming clean about his baby mama. He does sound like a loser, agreed. In one month he'll be 26 years older than her. I'd try to hide it if I was in his place as well. Makes him look like a pathetic has-been. Oh wait, he is!

There was something amusing about it when Mac was 24 that just doesn't work anymore. A 24 year old talking smack about the greatest album ever made was perfect for who and where they were at that point in time. They were otherworldly and impressive.

The weirder Mac gets, the more I love Will.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

Mac comes across like a complete dick in that interview (again). He's quite happy to cling onto Chris Martin when he thinks it will shift a few hundred extra copies of his solo drivel or the latest travesty to use the Bunnymen brand.

What a complete has been, end of the pier, chicken in a basket cunt. At least Dean Martin had the good sense to die.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.
