i really like alot of Bill's music but sometimes the air of smugness typical of gobby lefties puts me off a bit. I just wonder if him standing up and shouting drives people in the opposite direction. Thuogh I expect its not in his nature to shut up even if he thought that.

I guess it was about a decade ago that I saw the double-bill of Billy Bragg & Robyn Hitchcock, each performing solo-acoustic sets. Was a good show.

That sounds like the grilled KFC Double Down sandwich of concerts.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
