Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

I was pretty excited when I heard BRMC had a new album and tour coming up - bought my tickets months ago for their March 5 show here in Seattle.

Only one bad side - new album "Beat the Devil's Tattoo" drops March 9.

I've been searching all the usual sites off and on for a month or so. Finally found a good download link today, downloaded this morning, but waited till I was off work to give it a good listen.

If you like their folky stuff, it's on there. If you like their hard stuff, it's in there too. I'm more partial to the dirty, gritty, fuzzy songs, and they deliver, with tracks like "War Machine", "Evol" & "Mama Taught Me Better".

I'm uploading it to mediafire right now, and will post the link when it's there. (My karma is sound - I've preordered the album through iTunes)

I'm interested to know what you all think

[EDIT]

And here's the link:

Make sure you support the band and buy the album!

I love the BRMC. Even the songs I don't like, I like. Just less than the once I love.

Ordered mine this morning, I think it's out on the 8th over here. Got tickets for Liverpool end of April.

They ended up on a charity compilation Hear to Help available at American Eagle.

Ah shit, some of you hate Americans. Especially SABs like me. Sorry.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

Oh I did! They ALWAYS put on an amazing show! Leah Shapiro is a fan-fucking-tastic drummer, and her female vocals add new depth to the vocal harmonies on some of the songs.

Great stuff. Any chance of a full review Frank?

Thanks for the album preview, Frank. Great stuff!
I can't wait to see them on 02 May!

My preorder isin. Psyched to hear the new drummer. If u liked the show frank, I take it she did fine.

I am surprised they are American the way they dress, though.

I saw them a couple years ago when they opened for the Mary Chain. They were amazing!

That would be a dream bill. I've seen them a three times and each show and they sounded great each time.

That's an old pic (with their old drummer, Nick Jago, in the foreground - I think he's from the UK)

Here are some current promo pix:
