Who wrote Mac's book?

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

OK people, so did Mac ever answer to this? And, by the way, is Dorian still alive? Does anyone else think there is something a bit weird/disturbing about Julian?

I'd buy it.

1. Probably not. 2. Yes, very much so. 3. Of course, but that's fine.

Writing off Mac's Post-Ocean Rain work is ridiculous. Every album before The Fountain had at least one or more works of godlike genius. Of course, The Fountain now makes Julian's vitriolic and amusing criticisms of Mac completely valid.
Mac's contribution was important, as was Noel Burke's. However much some people would like to re-write history, the band was lucky enough to be graced with two great singer-songwriters in addition to it's great individual instrumentalists.

Awlright. I looked them all up to find out he's got two daughters with Dorian. raised the poor things in hippie weirdness. I honestly felt some concern for Dorian with all the drugs and insanity of their youth. Julian's blog is entertainingly weird.

He will be delighted to hear that. I think that to be recognised as weird was one of Cope's ambitions.

Shock of shocks: according to Amazon UK, Mac's book release has been pushed to June 2011.

I have it on good record that the publishing industry is notoriously slow - plus some lawyer will have to read it and query everything - and then get him to change it and all that bollocks.
