It's a classic case of inferiority complex.

I just started it. Give it a chance and it will be as popular as the very popular "The Obligatory Depeche Mode thread" or the "The Obligatory Contented of Hove thread".

Hmmm, I see a trend, maybe it should be the "The Obligatory Favorite word in a Bunnymen song thread".

You've forgotten "best verse" and "favourite Bunnyman (old and new)". Those dark nights must really fly by over on the BOF.

Sorry I didn't realise you'd just started the thread giving people the chance to choose their bestest Bunnymen word. And sorry, I refuse to be involved for the above reasons. I will take my business elsewhere.

Mr. Brian wrote:It was discussed here in a thread and I know that Peter and others visit here and read posts. At the time I thought it was the Elvis people but a quick search turned up all sorts of Elvis merchendise thatb was still up.

It was close to the time that DimeADozen also pulled all the Bunnymen torrent bootlegs shortly after a thread was started here about a bootleg of Albert Hall. The link was also posted on the BOF and then removed. DimeADozen said they received an e-mail from Peter that it wasn't allowed by the band. That started a whole controversy here and at at the BOF. Peter then apparently sent an e-mail saying he didn't send an e-mail to ban those torrent bootlegs. I contacted DimeADozen and asked about it and they the e-mail the received to unban them originated from the same IP and domain as the the e-mail to ban them. So it was either Peter for himself acting on the Bunnymen's behalf and ended up catching some flack for it or someone who really knows how to spoof e-mails did it. I think I know my answer.

Well, if it were someone that looked like Ian but wasn't we might be able to do it, but that would defeat the pupose. There is some legal tort referring to appropriation of someone's likeness without permission for profit. So either there would have to be no profit involved, or use only words. They didn't trademark VIlliers Terrace or VilliersTerrace.com from what I know. Please note, this is not legal advice. Just an admission of guilt that I would totally buy such a t-shirt. There might be a steep fine and/or legal fees.

If they would reissue Royal ALbert Hall on DVD I hink people would buy it. I'd also love a copy of the Pictures on my wall.
