Writing lyrics wasn't a part of what we studied. But the whole point was to find something that rhymes with Tesco. After consulting with a rhyming dictionary, there's really not much to pick from:

let's go
behind the tesco
let's go

2 syllables:
esco, fresco, gesco, gresko, lesko, mesko, vesco, wesco

3 syllables:
amfesco, francesco, genesco, invesco, maresco, moresco, tedesco, telesco

4 syllables:
defrancesco, difrancesco, gianfrancesco

And this is sooooo much better:

* And yet another Bashō classic:

初しぐれ 猿も小蓑を ほしげ也
hatsu shigure saru mo komino wo hoshige nari

the first cold shower
even the monkey seems to want
a little coat of straw

(At that time, Japanese rain-gear consisted of a large, round cap and a shaggy straw cloak.)

Why do you write us one, oh alleged haiku master?
