Orange Juice (Scottish bands)

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Orange Juice (Scottish bands)

My life is incomplete without some recordings by Orange Juice. I especially love Rip It Up. Anyone have those? The imports cost in the $100s on Amazon. I was shocked. I used to just waltz into Tower Records and pick up loads of imports. Those days are over.

Best I can do is get the Glasgow School CD

Got virtually everything, incl. promo/session/flexidisc stuff.
Sadly for you, its all on tape or vinyl.

Great band, especially Ostrich Churchyard LP

Edwin's solo stuff is good too

You might have some luck searching sites like Mininova.org for terms including Orange Juice and Edwyn Collins.

I think that should be in the "helpful and informative" posts thread Frank.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Well there is YouTube for whenever I want a look/listen for now at least. You can find near anything on it.

Someone sorta nicknamed me. They told me about Burberry being for chavs and then I found this whole chav thing PETA is doing. Someone also called me a cheeky cow, but that's another story.

Hmmm, Mac also uses twat alot. I'm going to wash his filthy mouth out with soap if I ever have the chance.

I thought Div was short for Diva since I have been called that...but that's pronounced like Steve.

That's kinda mean.

I broke down and ordered the Glasgow School from Amazon. Couldn't find any Orange Juice at all in the bins at Amoeba Records.
(Though I did find the Life at Brian's EP, extended remix of Bedbugs and Ballyhoo 12in, Pic disc of an interview, and Themes for Grind LP. Wait--wrong band. Oh well. Now if only I could find a record player.)
