The Obligatory Depeche Mode thread

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

oh, and you also have to communicate in Basildon English - or an equivalent that's understandable.
No clue what you wanted to say there, soz.

Royal Albert Hall is no Honda Center let me tell you
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

If it was a weekend I'd be tempted...but a Wednesday night in London doesnt float my boat!
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Well, my tickets are booked

Because this gig is not to promote an album or anything, I imagine they might play some older stuff or songs that don't get an outing too often.
Plus I've never seen them in such a relatively small venue.

Erm.................................

It's still part of "Tour Of The Universe" just an extra date slotted in between Zagreb and London O2, I would certainly expect the same setlist as the rest of the tour just a stripped down light and stage show in a better venue..........

Yeah it was a good time. Chris Adams was here and everything.

Isnt the whole point that this is an intimate gig? (by DM standards)

Interesting that Royal Albert Hall is a step up for the Bunnymen and considered small scale by DM...

Not that anyone in the UK buys DM's albums either, the sales figures for SOTU are pretty poor by their standards (however not quite at The Fountrain levels just yet)

The Hollywood Bowl is rather intimate. Even though the the Honda Center is your run of the mill, mass produced, no atmosphere pile of doo doo, DM made it feel intimate and special.

That being said who do I have to fuck to get a RAH ticket, airfare and room? I promise a minute to a minute and a half of mild pleasure.

I actually have a spare ticket. I was in such a hurry to book them that I pressed 6 instead of 5. Can't do much about the air fare and room. Should you sort this out and take the ticket, a G&T will do.

This time tomorrow I'll be on my way to Manchester to see them. Reach out and touch faith...
