SNOGGING!!!

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

SNOGGING!!!

Postby DivaDiana77 » Fri Dec 11, 2009 3:03 am

So I'm supposed to go to a NOG party where people have to make a t-shirt with a phrase that includes the word NOG since it's a tribute to egg nog.

I decided fairly quickly that mine will say "sNOG a frog." It will feature the full picture of me kissing Kermit. Most people here don't know what snogging is unless they've seen Harry Potter movies recently.

Though I thing that will be fairly unique, some people have come up with some good ones like:

-"Save a Horse, Nog a Cowboy"
-"Chipennogs" with stripper bow tie attire to match.
-"Kramer should of said Nogga" (literally 2 weeks after the laugh factory incident.)
-Hooters t-shirt exact replica with "Noggers" replacing the word Hooters
-"America's Next Top Nogga's" 10 girls wearing matching shirts
-"Inog" with the ipod shadow on the shirt
-The "Noggy or Nice" quartet in pink baby t's

My other thought was "NOGpoleon Dynamite"

Finally going to sleep. I have my last final or I'd be so there for the Wild Swans. Gonna see Average White Band tonight with a friend. Everyone is getting back together!

Someone had a shirt saying "Kramer should have said NOGGA" who got in huge trouble for saying what we now call, "The N Word". I don't think they realized what they would have been saying in Britain!

I laughed sooooo hard through this whole thing. We had some comedies almost like that here with Archie Bunker and the Jeffersons. The movie Bad News Bears was also hilarious for things that kids could get away with saying that no one would dare say today. "He calls Mao Tse Tung Fu Man Chu." I was laughing sooooo hard. And then when invites Bill to sit down for a drink... LOL. ROTFLMAO

Well there are some commonalities, but Archie Bunker sing God Bless America and knows a great deal about Asian religions...it's amazing how this kind of humor would never be on today.
