We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

It is too bad it wasn't properly finished. I'd like to know how the song got out. Just a studio engineer sending it to a friend or what.

Then there is the classic -

Her finest moment......

Remember seeing them in concert I think in either 84 or 85 and they played this during the normal set and then encored with it as they had no other songs on the reel to reel... But no one complained...

By the time I saw them they had two drummers on stage -

I first saw them in 83...supporting OMD of all people.

I love the Cocteaus, probably more now than the Bunnymen and New Order (for years my 2nd and 3rd favourite groups behind DM).
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

The Cocteau's were amazing, but the last thing I remember was a television show where they had degenerated into ambient and tuneless warbling.

This is one of my favourite songs of all time. Pure Brilliance!

That whole first This Mortal Coil album (It'll End In Tears) is fantastic. It really captures the whole 4AD feel at the time. The Dead Can Dance contributions on it are nearly as good as the Cocteaus. The follow up TMC album (Filligree & Shadow) is nowhere near as good.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

So do I, I just think Blood and Filligree are quite wide apart in quality terms to the debut...

Blood is a great album but truly doesn't compare to It'll End In Tears, maybe because the female vocalists are not as good as Elizabeth Fraser ...

Kangaroo is another timeless track, which takes me waaay back whenever I hear it.

At the Pavillion? I got taken there as a birthday present December 1984.
