Overrated bands

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

The SAB (Stupid American Bitch) is the type of American that makes the rest of the world hate Americans. Wheras the likes of BF is the type of American who makes the rest of the world admire Americans.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

I humbly accept the title of the Mexican who epitomizes all that is good about America. In the interest of full disclosure though I am like the friends of Scouser's parents. I just assume everyone wants to hear stories and see pictures of my kids and turtles.

Is that the turtle's pool, or did he (she? it?) take over your kids' pool?

Seven seas, swimming them so well!
Glad to see my face among them kissing the tortoise shell!
So it's a turtle, good substitution.

here's my list of over-rated artists:

Leonard Cohen
The Doors

Some I don't "get", some I like but still think are overrated.

Ramones were great IN THEIR TIME
The Doors, the people who love them REALLY love them but most people don't give a shite.

But how dare you speak against Leonard Cohen
I'll bet you Ian puts on Leonard Cohen and bawls his eyes out. (And then drinks himself to sleep, but that's another story.)
I just watched this video and it was so beautiful I cried.

And I'm sure I will be skinned alive, but I actually liked Ian's version of Lover Lover Lover. I'm going to watch it now.

To quote Scouser, there she goes again.

Double-D (generally a great name for forum use--at least traditional fora) has once more changed the topic in an abrupt manner--no easy transition, no warning.

To make things even more confusing, her photo has changed. Use of muppets in this context is almost always questionable.

To recap, the topic was turtles and NAFTA (more or less). Clever use of a green "cold blooded" animal in one's passport photo does not in itself serve to link the "overrated band" discussion unexpectedly reinstalled with the otherwise well-established Mexican turtle topic immediately prior. Also recall that a turtle is a reptile, while a frog is an amphibian (a puppet frog is probably neither, but I cannot confirm this).
