Crocodiles and HUH back to back?

Postby Voodoo Billy » Thu Dec 03, 2009 2:28 pm

Just had a quick look on the Bunnymen site, there's some quotes from Mac in the news section saying he'd like to do Crocodiles and Heaven Up Here back to back in 2010. They hear us I tell ya, they hear us!

I'd actually get off my arse and go to see that.
And you know that I'll pick up
Every time you call
Just to thank you one more time

That's one. How about it Scouser? You in for Crocodiles and HUH back to back?

If they tour with the Psychedllic Furs playing Talk Talk Talk in full, I'll go.

If they play the Porcupine album twice in a row count me in.

So would I. But I'd prefer HUH and Porcupine back to back.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

funny quote about the US tour - 'not sure how it will work, what with promoting the new album'. You'd think that after 30-odd years he probably would know. but hey, wouldn't be a bunnymen thing would it.

I'd also prefer HUH and Porcupine, but this would be great too.

As frustrating as the Bunnymen can be, the Furs are worse. I think they've been reformed for just about 10 years now and have released only 1 new song, preferring to trod out the same old tired tunes year after year.

That Bunnymen/Furs tour in 2001 was great though.

That is a major difference between the two and one thing I still respect about the Bunnymen. Even my beloved Pixies are trotting out the same material from the 90's. I won't see them live again until they're touring behind a new album.

I think Porcupine is my second favorite after Ocean Rain. Great stuff on there. It was good to see some of it live on YouTube. But Crocodiles and HUH live would be a treat. I'm in. It's not hard to figure out what we like, is it?

I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

It looks like I will also be attending a Bunnymen gig then next year. Great choices for back-to-back.

I just read that article. What's with that "McCulloch" all the way down to the last paragraph then it's "McCullough"?

Hey this album concert thing is a good idea. They should do one where they don't play The Fountain.

So, they'll do this even though this isn't what the kids want to hear, just for us old codgers. Isn't that sweet of them.

I would go, though.

In fact, not playing Siberia followed by not playing The Fountain might be a sure sell out.
