Overrated bands

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked too!

I used to like Radiohead but I think they started to believe they could do no wrong.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

They were great untill they ditched their guitars, The Bends and OK Computer are two of my favourite albums.

Radiohead in 2000 was one of the best gigs I've been to.

Also one of my favourites.

I have never been a fan of Radiohead but did like the last two albums Hail to the Thief and In Rainbow. Thom Yorke's The Eraser solo album wasn't bad either.

I am surprised I don't like Radiohead. Avant garde with mainstream appeal - tried a variety of insturmentation - but alas, no.

They are one of those bands that are easier to admire than to love.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

long time browser, first time poster. good exchanges of info going on generally. smarter and more objective than expected (damning with faint praise I know). don't know how to work that avatar deal, nor those rolling yellow faces--hope these are not required for social acceptance. also hope that this selfless act today will not facilitate identity theft, credit ruination, etc.

Would you mind helping me get $60,000,000 USD out of Africa?

Pretty smooth interest. Slides in on a topic - says hi, gives praise.

I don't trust him/her.

Kindly to wire me the last known location of said USD on this continent of beauty, along with modest fee of 100,000 pounds sterling so to assist me to recover your funds. My family, including the crown prince Nmbwambrk'nmbll'm offer our service in this noble cause and await your response (cash or money order only, if you please).

note: though "faint praise" may constitute praise, it is not intended to ingratiate, especially when identified as such. your lack of trust, however, is well placed.
