How true, how true.

But seriously, Mac at that time could have given Josh Groban and the likes a serious run for their money--even with that slight snarl he had. The voice was phenomenal even in that crappy decayed video. The solo career would have worked if he had stayed in the Bunnymen and given up the smoking. IMHO...

Don't most singers, being the front person, go through that at least once especially when the band is peaking?

Wrong KOK-the Broudie solo sessions were the biggest threat at that time. But Dicken rejected them.

Please tell us all about these sessions, Dave Smith. I've not heard of these sessions before. My Bunnymen mythology is incomplete! Are there any actual recordings from them?

Oh Jesus...dont start him...
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Usually they want to sing other stuff than what the band wants to do and then the whole thing goes to hell rather than what other people do which is do side projects for fun and stick it out with the band. It's hit and miss as to whether or not the artist does well without the band and how one defines doing well. Some people were better off being solo artists.

Ian McCulloch isn't one of those people.
