I went to the Crystal day gig, I didn't bother with all the bollocks that went with it though.
And you know that I'll pick up
Every time you call
Just to thank you one more time

Done them all.................

I was only 15 when they played Buxton my mates big brother let us go with him and his mates, it was a nightmare traveling down from Glasgow in a ramshackle Ford Transit mini bus in the rain and snow, also being so young I could not hold my cider down.... Ahhhhh the joys of youth......lol

Also the Highlands Tour in May 1982 is worthy of a mention.......

Crystal Day....ahhhh when I was young...........when they were young.....couldn't find Brian's Cafe......didn't matter in the end (although found it the following week by accident - steak pie, gravy and chips - doesn't seem that long ago!!!!!!!)...drinking scrumpy in that pub with blood stains on the walls and the great jukebox......taking my mate and getting him well into 'my' band.....who sounded like the only band you ever needed at that time.....my arm appearing on "The Tube" footage.......psychedelic lights lighting up st. georges hall .....one of the best gigs they ever did..........

We really are not worthy, Buxton, Crystal Day, Highlands, Sefton Park, superb memories I'm sure. I was into the band from early '84 but was too young to see them live, but then again, I've still got my youth (if only!!). Did anyone on here ever see them play Erics?
