That's no different from when I saw them in 1987.

Sure is - except Ian looked into the crowd and saw a big girl and sang"Lips Like Sugar! Hips Like a Hippo!"

Darien Lake 1987 with New Order. He also finished a ciggie and held it out to the audience and some guys went ape shit over getting it. I was in junior high thinking this was all so wild.
But when the guy in the audience got the cig butt and yelled, "I'm keeping this forever!" Mac rolled his eyes at him.

Also, Bernardcame out and did a VU cover with Ian and the BM.

04 SEP 87 Darien Lakes Amusement Park - Buffalo, New York ??

well, i recorded a lot of tracks on my camera including crocodiles and over the wall in their entirety, but the camera mic couldn't handle the loud sound levels (even on the balcony where i was the first night) so it sounds crap. i'm gutted. (only the quiet stuff sounds halway decent) :-(

Red- I have used these two little do-dads and have gotten amazing recordings. Easy to sneak in, too.

That was when Mac was really hammering the coke. I saw them at Wembley Arena around then and it was terrible. It was the beginning of the end as they split not long after...
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

I saw them at the legendary Barrowlands concert in January 1988, and without doubt it was there finest ever show, even all the members of the band agreed on this point. But I do agree with Souser that the Wembley show was very poor.....

Actually to be fair all the UK gigs with the exception of the NEC in January leg were pretty darn good, but just the Barrowlands was on a different level....

How dare you.

Mac was a brutal smart ass during that show.
They sounded amazing from what I can remember. Two keyboards, the orginal line up and an extra guitar player.

New Order stated they bought a disco ball and dj set up so they could party after the shows on that tour.
