Grey Album/Self Titled

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

In the US, while I can't speak for anywhere else, they did a huge gig at the Forum in LA. The album was #15--which should have been a great reward.
At least a quarter of the boys at school wanted to be him and wore their hair like him. Makes me sad I missed it, but I was really turned off to concerts after seeing Duran Duran. Standing in puddles of pee near screaming girls was traumatizing. I think after that I swore Duran Duran off and only liked bands like the Bunnymen which guys liked more than girls even.

I'm home tonight trying to slag off this ear infection finally. I got Turquise Days in the mail. Yippee!! At least their old stuff is available on YouTube. they were so fab in their heyday. Mac's voice! And they played together so well. the songs they wrote on the grey album were still good songs even if they weren't as good as the other albums. I'm so depressed. I want to go back in time.

He's like Beetlejuice except you say "puddles of pee".

That could very well be an American phrase I'm not aware of but I suspect most of us Yanks have no idea how to slag off an ear infection.

The only way I know to use the word is when we reference Peter over here. As in all we ever do over here is slag Peter.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Or "your Mom is a slag"
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

to the tune of every Ian McCulloch interview since 1984...

Yeah, this ear infection is great. It's the best ear infection since Ocean Rain. Chris Martin won't stop going off on how good this ear infection is. Now Bono, his ear infection's a bit embarrassing really. It's like an ear infection for bricklayers and plumbers.

Funniest thing I ever read.

It has been the best ear infection since ... it's just the best I've ever had. Only I could have ever thought of it. --Mac

Someone made a video of Lost and Found and I thought I would share it. Seriously, it's not a half bad song--in fact the melody is stuck in my head. The Grey Album seems to be growing on me. Might have to get my head checked. My ears are still having issues, maybe it's that.

The grey album is not that bad if you can ignore the poppy sound and synths and take on board the melodies. One thing is though it is the real start of Bunnymen lite that has been carried on through to most of the post-1997 Bunnymen albums. For that, it can be cursed for defining the Bunnymen sound ever since.

There are good songs on it, I just don't seek it out as much as the first four albums. The other day in fact a song came up on shuffle so I went ahead and played the whole thing and found myself enjoying it. It's been a very long time since I just listened to it all the way through.

Ahem...really? I'd hate to call you a liar in front of everyone, so I won't, but the implication is there--is it not?
