well this album's been in the can two years so you'd think they'd have anothe one ready to go already, so we wont have long to wait - unless, theres a lost album just waiting to be released...... so we wont have long to wait.

Good time to release the Johnny Marr sessions.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I can hardly wait
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

We'll get something to promote Ian's book. Like Dylan did for Chronicles. Maybe a solo best of...Maybe like Unravelled.

The direction of The Fountain is a little delusional - but maybe something better comes out of the other end.

By the way did Will even get an even split on this one considering the writting credits are all over the board? I bet he's playing for 1/3 of the usual cash.

I haven't heard him complain however...

That's the problem, IMO. As much as I love Will's music and guitar playing, I'm starting to lose a little respect for him. Maybe I'm completely wrong but it just seems like he doesn't give a shit with what goes on with the Bunnymen these days. He just seems to show up for the live shows playing the same songs, collect a check, put down some little riffs here and there for the stuff, etc.

Meanwhile he's letting Ian co-write "Bunnymen" songs with a former boy band producer and allowing songs like What If We Are and The Idolness of Gods to be put on Bunnymen albums even though I'm not even sure Will even plays on either song. At the very least I'm willing to bet his involvement in either of those songs, or a number of other recent songs, was very minimal.

I suppose the one advantage of the co-writers is that the worst songs are just professional and a bit average, rather than ridiculous non-music such as "Arthur."
Before, the Bunnymen were either brilliant or idiots, now they can do mediocre.

seems apt for this thread

If I said I'd lost my way
Would you sympathize?
Could you sympathize?
I'm jumbled up
Maybe I'm losing my touch
I'm jumbled up
Maybe I'm losing my touch
But you know I didn't have it anyway

Won't you come on down to my
Won't you come on down to my
Rescue

Things are wrong
Things are going wrong
Can you tell that in a song?
