Dream Bunnymen setlist

Postby black francis » Thu Oct 22, 2009 1:57 am

Going Up
Simple Stuff
Crocodiles
Show of Strength
No Dark Things
Porcupine
Clay
Heads Will Roll
The Cutter
Back of Love
No Hands
Over Your Shoulder
Nocturnal Me
Thorn of Crowns
The Killing Moon

I would drop dead my life complete if they played something even resembling this setlist
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

If they want to throw in Life of a 1000 Crimes I'd be fine with that too.

Bring on the Dancing Horses and All Because of You Days could be replaced by Read it in Books and their version of Midnight Hour.
Apart from that, it's a damn fine setlist.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Ahh the old dream setlist. Have a go.

Mine still retains the chicken in the basket greatest hits format (being realistic as it wouldn't change) + a couple of tracks from the new album, but chucks in a few songs that have been played in the past 12 years and some songs that really should have been played since. I have also removed some of the songs that BF suggested as Mac might have difficulty singing them now (Clay, Porcupine). Also, no cover versions at my gig. Not that I'm being picky.

Going Up
Show of Strength
Crocodiles
Heads Will Roll
Rust
The Cutter
Think I Need It Too
In Bluer Skies
Pictures on My Wall
The Disease

Higher Hell
Villiers Terrace
Sideways Eight
Bedbugs & Ballyhoo (Lips Like Sugar played at some other gig dates instead)
Nothing Lasts Forever
Do It Clean

Encore:

The Game
All My Colours
Over The Wall

There's no way on God's green earth that Mac would ever consent to sing Reverberation era Bunnymen songs!

A 75 minute version of Broke My Neck.

That'd do it.

Any set without Fuel would actually work for me.
