Whatever happened to

Whatever happened to The Bunnymen?
They got a producer
That made a Shit Album

Whatever happened to the old sound?
Crocodiles, and Pourcupine?
Whatever happened to Zimbo?
Whatever happened to the Cutter?

Whatever happened to all the classics?
Crystal Days and Buxton?
They watched Villairs Terrace burn
Whatever happened to the Happy Death Men?
Whatever happened to the Turquoise Days?

No more Bunnymen any more
No more Bunnymen any more

Whatever happened to the Angels ?
and the White Devil ?
They watched Clay crumble
Whatever happened to the Puppet?
Whatever happened to All That Jazz?

No more Bunnymen any more
No more Bunnymen any more

Cheer up mate, you sound like Morrissey.

They were on form last night (Manchester). Going Up was a great opener and we were treated to Show of Strength, All That Jazz, Villiers Terrace and The Disease as well as the more expected stuff. Think I Need It Too and Do You Know Who I Am? sounded good live as well, much more balls than on the album. Some great backdrops added to the atmosphere. They showed they've still got it. A show of strength indeed.

Just For You Dave

Dedicated, emancipated
Fans wait patiently for the days
Songs to learn and sing
Frustrated in oh so many ways
dressed in a Army Camouflage
Pledge themselves whilst rolling down the union jack

Never stop
Never stop
Never stop
The love you found must never stop

Enlisted sister knows her Pain
Never two times with the rest of the zephyr
In their eyes we sympathise
The afterlife reformation should hold a better rescue plan

Gave up there old sound
Measure by measure and drop by drop
Oh how the times have changed them
Production not devils have claimed them

No, but have seen Hugh Cornwell a number of times. And he can still cut the mustard, even at the ripe old age of 60!

KOK you are missing the doo doos from your first lyrics.

I was impressed by KOK. Looks like he ripped out those lines pretty quick.

I think KoK meant to call this:

"Whatever happened to 1983?"
