Paranormal Activity

Anyone seen or heard about this movie? Apparently it was made for $15,000 and I was told by a friend who works for the studio that it is the scariest fucking thing he's ever seen. I guess Steven Spielberg wanted to direct a re-make of it and include the original version as a bonus on the DVD. It's being shown in a few theaters at midnight and has grossed $500,000 so far and if a million people request it on the website, it will be given a wide release.

Sounds interesting if nothing else.

Yeah that's one of those movies that look too scary for me.

It looks scarier than The Blair Witch Project...

I went to the L.A. premiere of the Blair Witch Project, met the directors and the whole bit. I was so excited. The I watched the movie and realized it was 90% we're lost and 10% scary. Man I left the theater disappointed.

Your words make me sad because they hit home.

No echo.

I'm still Jack's bitch even though we've been out of prison for 7 years now. Nobody noticed my hanging onto his inside out pants pocket in NY?

When I saw that movie my wife and I used to go camping alot. I'm not sure if that's why but it scared the crap out of me. I recommended it a co-worker and I think he was actually mad at me because he hated it so much.

The ending where that dude was standing in the corner and the girl screaming is silenced made my blood run cold.

I think if you'd never been camping or spent any time in the country, it might not scare you... It's a love it or hate it kind of movie, anyway.

I won't be able to see the movie anytime soon here in Japan, but sounds interesting. I know there's no way in hell I'll be able to get the wife to watch it.

As for Blair Witch, I though it was an awesome idea, especially the way they marketed it. I left the theater with a migraine though from all the damn shaky cam shit. I think the Bare Wench series was much better executed.
