Are u going to dancing in the fountain 2 Moz

Well The offical format hits the shops 2moz

I have listened to it a few times now from various sources and I just Don't Get.

I really want to like it but with doo Whap backing vocals, cheasey Pianios it makes me cringe when I think of bunnymen of old.

Its as if their trying to sound like the bands that they have influenced

If this was marketed as an Ian Mculloch Solo CD however I would find it total aceptable.

This is just not a Bunnymen Record, but if you like WYGTDWYL than you will love it.

In all fairness its better than a lot of drivel thats out there, its just not the bunnymen and to make matters worse I susspect they know it

Be careful of using the word "Moz". It might bring Spooky back.

I hope her and PeterG married.

Like those aspect or not, I applaud the band for doing it. Of course I'd like something a bit more left of center like the first four, but the parts you mention at least take me out of my comfort zone with EATB. Crimes is a really good song. The slow ones are good (shooting for fish in a barrel for Mac at this point when he does).

I am not thrilled, but I also would tell someone to check it out.

The songwriting is going to stay as follows it would seem:
* introduction or intro
* verse
* bridge
* chorus
* middle 8 or variation
* Ending

It seems anything the band does is going to stay in the confines of this. This is a bitter pill for a band that wrote songs before they knew "the rules."

Fans of the early stuff either need to accept this or move on. I am trying.

The funny thing is I meant it. If they're best friends and travelling around together it seemed to me they should have been an item. I always liked spooky and you gotta admit her posts were never dull.

Why? Why can't we stay and bitch and moan? And who are you anyway, fans of the early stuff police?

The bunnymen sold out after Side A of Crocodiles.
