Thats from The Guardian review of The Fountrain
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Here is Nostradamus' review of the Fountrain:

The new barque will go on voyages
Their great power will be seen to increase
Quite otherwise will one interpret it
Drinking by force the waters poisoned by sulfur

Garden of the world near the new city
Near the heavens human blood shed
After victory pardon to the captives
When the dead will come out of their graves

Does that translate as "inoffensive pop music that will garner faint praise by being neither really terrible nor particularly good"?

I dunno. It's Nostradamus. It means whatever you want it to mean.

What kind of TIT makes a prophesy 600 years before the album is even out?

He better hope "Nostradamus" is not his forum name.

That Nostradamus chap took the album quite seriously. He predicted that it would get the band it's first top 40 UK album release since the year of our lord in 1999. See, a fountain was built in France in his memory to commerate his review of The Fountrain.

600 years before release maybe, but wasn't he around when they started work on it?

True. Here is a rare photo of him at the mixing console. You can barely recognize him as he is in disguise with the hat removed.

In keeping with the spirit of the times, perhaps it should have garnered a Grammy last year... if not a Nobel.
