"One of out favourite tracks on the album is 'Shroud of Turin'. The guitars on it sound fantastic. Tell us about the track.

Mac: You like the fucking guitars? What about the words? What about where I’m talking to Jesus, man? I talk to fucking Jesus in that record, and you like the guitars?"

I bet Will's thrilled with that comment.

wonder what the 'problems' are/were he mentions. generally speaking though - all the usual bollocks.

The Fountain is all about new ideas. I needed to do stuff differently. Different musicians. Different producer. It’s totally different but still can be recognised as the Bunnymen and that’s a fucking great achievement

NO thats why it will fail

Once I find a good interview, I save the site. Quietus had a good interview with Peter Hook before. Ian is from the same generation.

Also, just googling Ian McCulloch interview when you are bored or whatever pops into your head can bring about a few gems.

Just look at all the amazing and entertaining youtube material I provide.

Real classy withahip stealing credit like that. Thanks for the great links Kounelaki. You've outdone yourself this time.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I'm increasingly convinced Quietus nick their ideas from us... cooking? recipes? Did it for the last 5 years, still they try, bless them...

He loves his own voice and words don't he?? Has the producer/mixer turned all the vocals up to 11 on this record then??
