If I film crowd shots on a beach I am meant to be a pervert. If I praise my favourite female singer I am meant to be a homicidal stalker. If I try to get life-saving experimental medicine for my (now dead) mother I am a Graham Young type poisoner. By the way, I don't keep her body in the attic.
I am getting rather tired of this attitude, which I think is a mirror image of Islamic law.
In Islamic societies women and children are forced into seclusion in case of "moral crime" but in the West I think that single men (and later all men) will soon be the ones forced into purdah. I was a feminist, but will now campaign for mens rights.

I am quite public about my view that sexual offenses laws have become so over-broad as to be a threat to innocent people, as in the case of the war on drugs.
However I cannot really argue that the people hunted down on Perverted Justice are anything other than creeps.
On the other hand, could the basis of the show be considered equivalent to offering an alcoholic a drink? This mans smug look of moral superiority might be misplaced-the programme has already lead to one suicide.
