depends what you mean by 'special'. he's in a band and used to have pretty boy good looks, and the lips of course. and presumably a good supply of the stuff we're not supposed to talk about.

and it'd depend what you invest in it yourself. if its the fleeting joys of all that young flesh and the fact that the paps might pay you a moments attention for the first time in 20 years well, who cares if she pisses of as soon as she warms up to the fact your just the same as any other middle aged miserable old git who smells of farts in the morning. cheer up Evils old boy! Theres a certain pleasure in accepting that your not going to poke some 18 year old bint again. As for old Bill, he married his next wife a couple of years after mandy goldigger left with a bag full of his cash and she's about 20 or so years younger than him and they are still happy together. sweet. didn't jagger pork that sophie dahl oonce. ewww (for her that is).

i may have misread that - do you mean that mac's some kind of sexual athlete? How do you know that?** or is it based on the fact that he wears a dufflecoat on stage and hardly breaks into a sweat - though maybe its working the audience that does that to a man. or do you mean the young things will be up with the lark after a hard nights shagging and you'll be wanting to sleep til lunch unless she gets her skates on and brings you breakfast in bed?

though perhaps the old 'middle aged footballer' analogy is what we're looking for. Beckham might not be able to sprint with the ball at his feet from one end of the pitch to the other any more without pausing for breath, but he can be in the right place at the right time, entertain the crowds, and knows what it takes to get the desired result and when the need arises can still curl a ball into the top corner of the net from 30 yards or so. if you know what i mean. a friend of a friend who reckons he has experience tells me that some young girlies who've shared that experience appreciate this in a bloke. who knows. maybe becks is a bad example. how about frank worthington?

Gary Lineker is probably a better example than Frank Worthington, and certainly Beckham at what 34. I think Lineker, with his still youthful boyish if grey looks, was 47 when he started dating a 28 year old after splitting with his wife. Married her two years later.

Mac didn't just have pretty boy looks (and women are not that visual-just as well or they wouldn't want men at all) but despite being a straight male I think everyone has to admit he had one hell of a sexy voice, and occasionally manages to ressurect it.
As for Mac being a sexual athelete I don't know but the 17 year old girl I took to the Bunnymen concert just as friends got a backstage invite, which she declined . She looked a bit like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avril_Lavigne. Mind you, it was the "W.A.Y.G.T.D.W.Y.L" tour and Mac had lost his mojo.

so, what do you think he sings to em while he's on the job? nothing ever lasts forever? c-c-c-c-cucumber? my life's the disease? or a quick burst of 'what if we are' in their shell-like just has he reaches the vinegar point? and obviously theres the line in killing moon.

BUt as you say the young lady declined so cant be that potent. Theres probably more blokes that'd go back stage - and if thats not a euphemism i dont know what is but i didn't mean it that way, it just slipped out. honest.
