How was your day?

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

We could all start supporting you through the paypal button at the bottom of the screen. I mean - a dollar and a dream, right?

Seriously - how are prospects?

I appreciate all the kind words. It is nice to have the words of encouragement.

As long as I have jobs to apply for in my field I will be optimistic. It's when they don't call or the jobs start running out. I was there for 8 years so they did give me severance that helps quite a lot to give me some more buffer.

That PayPal button down there might get bigger soon!

So you were treated with respect. I take it you have good references?

Career moves are so common these days, most employers focus on what you can bring to a place - rather than why you left.

I was treated with respect as far as pay and benefits but I feel as though they could have done a little more considering the hours I had put in for them. I still felt like I had to go out through the back door as if I had done something wrong. It felt a little cloak and dagger, but whatever at least I am financially ok for a while and can still use them as a reference. They could have just made my life so hard that I failed and could have let me go with nothing so they didn't have to pay another dime.

I do have references all set...my former boss, the City Administrator and Mayor of the town I live in. I am on good terms with all my former managers too.

My heart aches for you, Brian.

I know you'll land on your feet in a better position, so stay positive.

In the meantime, Jack will be happy to pick up the cost of running the website.

I worked for a business for seven years and the owner shows up one day and says I'm afraid we're closing down boys and we were like oh man when is it happening and he said end of the day.

That kinda sucked.

bf is sorry that he only has the one getting laid off story. Maybe he'll get laid off again so he can change it up a little in the future.

And yet I have 50 something songs in my top ten of all time. Go figure.

That was a really tramatic experience you doosh. I had a drug habit to pay for and suddenly I'm jobless!

And after 5000 + posts there's gonna be a few repeats. They can't all be youtube videos.
