Seeing a bunch of up-their-bum-star f***kers of our acquaintance at the concert the following night and hearing them ask, "How did YoU get to go there?" was almost as sweet as the gig itself.

Radio 4, Front Row
The Booker shortlist, Nick Cave's new novel, Beatles remastered and The September Issue.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qsq5

"The Australian singer-songwriter Nick Cave has just published his first novel in 20 years, having recently turned his hand to screenwriting for The Proposition, and composing and performing soundtracks to The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and the new film The Road. Cave discusses The Death of Bunny Munro, a tale of one man's road to ruin, and its rather unsavoury protagonist."

Should have said - that's Borders, Glasgow. Though why I'm even asking if a bunch of 'murcans, scallies and Euro residents have Glasgow tickets I don't know.

I didn't think these were ticket affairs.

I don't know about the rest of them but the Glasgow one is free, but you need a ticket. I was in Borders a couple of weeks back. They said he was only coming for about an hour and they were expecting a high interest, so you had to queue for tickets at 8.30am on 1st Sept.
