wel if Ray ain't that impressed and the lad from corner shop thinks it is ok then it will probably make it commercially I mean who remembers the CT no 1

i am not havin a go at them it is just their taste in music is probably same as ours

Now if Simon Cowell rants about how great it is then I am goin to be delighted cos it means Nadine Coyle might pop up at one of the gigs

True, but there are still people who like the physical product. Having an MP3 tucked away on your computer hardrive or i-pod just isn't the same.

Personally, I still like listening to CDs, the quality of the recording is usually better than MP3. And if I want it on MP3, I can quickly convert it into that format straight off the CD. I'm a sound obsessive. I like to hear every note clearly. Also, with the above in mind, I have always kind of liked having my CD collection prominently on display, kind of defines who I am.

The quality is far better, I think it was the bloke who runs Spotify who admitted that the sound quality of their downloads is 75% of CD (let alone vinyl) And itunes is something like 85% quality - but don't quote me

And I will buy the cd for that reason,(still do buy cd's)but dont expect 5000 cd singles to be pressed up because they just wont shift.

Obviously that's the case with the single. The album is different. How would they know how many CD copies of The Fountain to press. Base it on short-term sales of Siberia or Flowers immediately after the albums were released?

17 copies it is then
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Sales on a selected track by track download basis does not count as album sales. That is my way of thinking of buying this one this time round. Make it a possible 16.

I'll have you know I actually went into a shop and bought Siberia. With money and everything!
I'll probably do the same with The Fountain. Probably.

In fact the coffin is now so full of nails it resembles some sort of oblong hedgehog but with the spikes on the inside (pretty uncomfortable for the corpse).
