Yeah, those stupid fans buying our records and coming to our shows…..they better not expect me to acknowledge them or thank them.

“We’ve never had that gimmicky “how you doing!” attitude to playing live because to be honest, I’m not that arsed. I’m more concerned with how I’m doing.”

Then why play live? If you want to screw your “fans”, keep cranking out that self-indulgent tripe you’ve been passing off as music over the last 6 years or so. Have some real integrity and don’t bother gracing a stage with your presence. And it’s a good thing you are concerned with how you are doing because no one else is.
There's times when I've been deeply indifferent

Great line from Ian

"It’s our best album since What Are You Gonna Do With Your Life? No actually, I’m gonna say it’s the best album since Ocean Rain."

Makes me think all is not lost.

It's amazing how quickly the comments degenerate into the U2 vs EATB argument. LOL!

Also, isn't "The Bear" Pete Burn's moniker? I don't mind him posting something positive in order to boost sales, but next time choose a different name to post under! No one wants to know they're being manipulated.

If only Mac had his guitar.

"Red | 8/31/2009, 4:52 pm EST

Talk Talk blows away Ian and co. Ian never wanted to be popular but then he compares “Killing Moon” to much better songs. What a doosh. "

Someone must be trying to pose as Red - she would never call Ian a doosh. Fess up you guys - who was it????

He should manipulate them into playing "The Puppet" again.
