not really. most costs would have been the up front production. once the mastering and master artworkd completed knocking off a new copy and parcelling it up would be minimal. especially if they had made contingency plans for the odd loss here and there. we'll see if on the next tour there's a stack of OR live cds for sale at a fiver each.

I heard the DVD was pretty cool and Will's commentary was worth the price alone.

But yeah I didn't really think anything was lost in the mail.

You're bringing the DVD with you to L.A. right?

You're not allowed in the house without it.

And no soup.

We don't go in much for facts around here.

Although I was not terribly impressed with the overall DVD (I was expecting a full live performance, not the dizzying motion of the camera as they cut from one song to the other), I was happy to make the purchase knowing it might put enough change in their pocket to keep them going for a bit longer. A fans duty. Perhaps I should have watched it another night, having just come back from a hot, live performance by The Pretenders.

Same reason for buying it. And seeing their signatures made me feel like a kid.

Well, given that "the fans" were recently told that they were irrelevant in the Bunnymen grand masterplan for pop success, some could argue that it is not a fan's duty anymore to line their pockets.

I didn't buy it as I didn't want it. I am quite happy with the original Ocean Rain remastered in all its entirety and with a full orchestra.

Agree on not wanting the DVD.

Where did you see the stuff about irrelevance - that's shocking!
