Gods will be gods/Over the wall

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Gods will be gods/Over the wall

Postby happy_loss » Wed Aug 19, 2009 10:29 am

Lately I find myself skipping the E&TB section and going straight to Gods will be gods or Over the wall.

WHAT HAVE I BECOME!?!?

One of us.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

one of us
one of us
one of us
one of us

(FYI, now that you're "one of us", it is customary for us to chant "one of us" in a creepy monotone whenever someone new becomes "one of us". It's a little cliched, but we stick with what works.)

The Bunnymen were a genius band which attracted clever and witty fans to the forum. The band itself seems to have blown up like a supernova, leaving a shrunken shell of a star that is no longer of much interest.
This forum is the pretty multicoloured shell of gaseous stellar remnants expanding forever outwards into the void.

Be fair. Leave BF's tacos and Jack's verbalisations out of it.

Don't forget that these gaseous stellar remnants provide the materials and conditions whereby stars are born anew.

Between boring music, being told to F@#$% off because I like their darker songs and bad customer service . . . . .well, I've been doing the same.
