Are we old farts?

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

But withahip is easily the most immature of us all.

In NY Jack was the leader, Mr. Brian the behind the scenes guy, withahip the wild man and I just stood around looking beautiful.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

No you berated Bill O'Reilly, protector of children and the only person who is looking out for you.

I hope you're pleased with yourself.

short answer - yes, we are all old farts. but i'll take being a semi old fart (37) and growing up with some damn good music (caught the tale end of the 80s and the high point of early 90s madchester/shoegaze - i have photos with a bowlcut and hooded anorak to prove this) vs the majority of crap music/youth culture that's been around the past decade or so.

Yes, but he was so subtle about it. I envy that social skill: subtle inebriation.

I agree that you do not have that skill.

As a number of concert goers and hotels in the NY metro area have found out.

Red said she felt sorry for me when she saw me gnawing away on one of half a dozen or so super pretzels in a desperate attempt to sober up before the Ocean Rain set. Was there an opening band?

Of course it didn't help that withahip and I were washing them down with more beers.

That was quite possibly the most fun I have ever had in three days.
