Fat Cherry's explanation sounds about right. What I want to know is what happened to goths. Even if they dressed a bit like morticia out of the Adam's Family, at least they had interesting record collections (complete, no doubt, with copies of Echo & The Bunnymen's Ocean Rain among others).
). I asked someone the other day what an emo kid is and their reply was that they wear black nail varnish and have black dyed hair. I thought that was a goth (in my day anyway). Apparantely, they don't listen to gothic type music, so I'm lost on what an emo kid is. Sounds like some kind of disablement, mental illness or attention deficit disorder type label.
