That's not me - it's the legendary Mark and Lard , they made afternoons on Radio 1 unmissable.

Dr. Cheese! You mean all those profile images haven't been you?

wow. star. why dont you go on it then? mate of mine got on and won with 33, even gave me a name check, so I'm nearly famous. mind you he didn't get the three in ten even though i was shouting them out in the general direction of the radio. One of the speakers has come off his flipper radio though.

You speak for yourself. I'm 36 years old. I don't consider myself old... yet. I do, however, only listen to Radio 5 Live, so musically there is not much to go unless they put music to Alan Green commentating some Premiership match.

Hey Mr. Brian, don't new members have to verify that they are at least 42 years of age (due to the often ribald content of this forum?)

my chemical romance and the like apparently. according to one of my daughters some emos are quite serious in their art and even do a bit of self harm, which seems a bit over the top to me - but try telling kids anything these days. Mind you my daughter might have been repeating the latest school rumour in good faith so I dont know. Though I do know she was a bit perturbed when one of her mates 'went all emo on me'. I did a double take but all she meant was she'd started wearing a lot more black eye-liner, claimed to be bi (think I'm with phoebe from friends on that one) and had a few records by the aforementioned band.

These days goths seem alot more serious too. Theres a gang of em you occasionally see in my local (bit of a crusty/biker/heavy metal dude pub) and they dress very well, wish i had half their style: long black coats, loads of make up (and yes thats the blokes, derr), top hats and the one who sems to be the head honcho sports a set of cats eye style contact lenses. In my day, though there was alot of black involved and even a bit of make up they just seemed to spend most of their time listening to fields of the nephilim and wondering where their next pot noodle was coming from.

Chez.

In my day, a young fellow passed the time by rolling a barrel hoop with a stick.

Chez, I'd have to stick with the flipper I think. I always fail with the 3 in 10. One day this week it was 3 by Daniel Bedingfield for god's sake. Even if I had known I don't think I would have admitted to it.
