We used to call them long players in my day (or LP's as the trendier hipsters would say). None of your space age newfangled 8 track cartridges, and I hear there are cassettes and something called compact discs nowadays, they'll never catch on, you mark my words.

Boy they really are trying to find a way to use Twitter, aren't they? I guess it's the only way to keep up with the never-changing flow of no information.

Had this been around the original OR shows this would have been exciting news but we all know what delayed albums sound like so I'm expecting a slightly more up tempo jangle pop version of Siberia.

That rough and tumble rock and roll album the Bunnymen were going to release after the grey album is upon us at last.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

16 hours have passed by since that announcement was made. Who wants to bet that it won't come in 24 hours.

I'm dreading the words, "Think I Need it Too" will be released as a digital single first.

You can view it without being a member of Twitter. Any updates that end will be for all public view. I read quite a few Twitter feeds (Lance Armstrong for example) without signing up.

17 now! What time is it in the UK right now? It has to be the evening I'd guess.

Think I Need it Too will probably be the first single, might be the only single, who knows. The song is like the spiritual successor to It's Alright, some really cool sounds but really bad chorus.

I just want to hear some of the promised song snippets. That's pretty much the only reason I keep checking the official site. I don't ever recall an album being dragged out like this one.

stone roses second one. mind you the first isn't nearly as good as everyone reckoned.

I'm the opposite on 'its alright'. like the chorus think the rest is shite. not so sure about 'whatever you waaa-aaant' etc.
