Yup.

He wrote it too.

Doesn't look very original, but it still looks good!

The story has been well covered in sci-fi lit and movies. I find it interesting that The Island was panned as being right wing moralizing by critics for a similar theme but in the reviews I have read make no assertion of this for Moon- is it because it is a small film?

The pacing was awkward, the film wanting to establish the basic premise and then build tension but as a fan of sci-fi it was incredibly predictable.

My favorite part was the talk radio caller at very end of the film.

Rockwell _is_ great and the music by Clint Mansell (of Pop Will Eat Itself) was top notch.

I am glad I saw it, but nothing new. Too bad, it would have been a great opportunity to bring out the newer themes occurring in the anthologies of Hartwell, Dozoi and others.

Are you talking about the movie with Scarlett Johansson and Ewan McGregor?

Thanks for the mini review Mr Hip. It sounds worth seeing, but after hearing your opinion maybe I'll wait for it on DVD.

Same guy. Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones (born 30 May 1971), also known as Zowie Bowie or Joey Bowie (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duncan_Jones)
