For a moment I was worried that she'd resigned as Governor of Alaska on a National Holiday (and first day of a 3 day weekend), catching the news cycle at its weakest and lessening the damage done by various reports that she was under Federal investigation for embezzlement. I don't hate her, myself. I used to think she was as dumb as, well... George W. Bush... now with this whole embezzlement thing, and the way she's puppeteered her family, I'm beginning to think she's sort of the Martha Stewart of politics. And I hates me some Martha. I think it's all about people who think there are separate rules for themselves than the rest of society.
