Up Front At All Points West

I will be going to see the Bunnymen on August 2nd at the All Points West Music Festival in New Jersey. My plan is to elbow my way through the 50,000 people to get as close to the stage as I can for their music set. What suggestions do any of you have that might help me succeed in this effort? Even better, how would one go about getting an autograph? Nope, I’m not female. Or should I stop worrying because after Cold Play performs the place will clear out, allowing me to stroll right up to the stage?

By the way, I’m hesitant to post anything on the site because the English teachers in the crowd will harshly critique what’s written. But that’s why I love this group. So irreverent!

Are they really playing AFTER Coldplay? I wouldn't worry about it, if that's the case.

no, the bunnymen play right before coldplay.... coldplay are the headliners.

there aren't as many festivals in the US as there are in the UK so i don't have any pointers for "elbowing your way up front", i would say if you want to get up there, show up early and keep your spot.

as for autographs, you might spot the band around... i would try to find them BEFORE they play... cuz my guess is they won't be hanging around till the end if they don't have to.... unless Mac is planning one of his secret "Coldplay sings Lips Like Sugar with special guest Ian McCulloch" encores... then you never know.... my guess is Will and the other guys will be off at a pub somewhere by the time the festival is over :wink:

but i am only guessing here... i've never been to see them at a festival before... i hope its decent :smile:

what about if u need a pee?
