I would have struggled with the acute though.

How do u get that from the keyboard?
i sometimes use caps and punctuation for emphasis

You can use handy dandy alt key numeric codes ...

http://tlt.its.psu.edu/suggestions/international/accents/codealt.html

just hold the alt key down, and type the correct number on your numeric keypad ... for example, "é" is 0233.
