Is there a football match? Either Liverpool, Everton or Man City?

Is anyone here going to any of the museums or just going shopping around the city?

Man City????
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Hey laugh at me all you want but, I'm a supporter of them, Liverpool & Everton.
I went to the Man City game on November 5th. It was great!

Did you see the Liverpool game where they beat Turkey, by 8?! All of us were at the bar at Ma Egertons' & were like, "holy crap (except we didn't say crap)". I think it was the day later. Some of those days are seemingly though, in a blur...

Whom do you support?
If I am brutally honest though, my team is really Liverpool.

Scouser wrote:Red - bit touchy arent you! I didnt actually mention you by name in my post did I? As a matter of fact it was a generic criticism of the empty headed fangirls (most of whom, you have to admit, tend to be from the US) who have turned a cutting edge rock band into some sort of self help group for 40something women.

The fawning over Mac and Will really grates with me...I admit it. They only want to take your money, they arent interested in fraternising. Its only self delusion keeps people from seeing the absolute contempt in Mac's eyes (Im not going to mention Glasgow).

But...if it makes you happy...go for it.

Korova for those who havent been there before. Its Little Chef chic meets 70's living room. The acoustics are terrible, the clientelle are atrocious and its tiny and bloody hot. Plus on the night Will is spinning the wheels of steel (or possibly a laptop) it will be knee deep in HRT patches. Shudder.

As for the fact that all the old official forum members are now here ... I had noticed that too. Hence the post in the first place. I want to make Bunnymen fans edgy again (you can still be edgy at 39 cant you? Cant you? Oh God).

Plus...if it was all one big happy love in where is the fun in that? Thats what the Webastards Official Site is for.

I dont mind if you call me a fat, bald Scouse bastard. In fact Id actively encourage it. I dont want "nice". I want real.

Real.

Si

(the fat, bald, angry one)

God, you make the "fangirls" sound like a load of knicker throwing, screaming eegits.....I'm a fan and a girl(well middle aged woman now) and have been a fan of the band and their music for about 26/27 years now as I'm sure most of the female fans are. I've met Will once and got the chance to meet Ian but bottled it cos what the hell would I say to him - I don't know him, he doesn't know me.

I don't think you can be edgy at our age - I'm sure we were all edgy in our youth (I like to think I was anyway), but now we're all mature and mellow (well, some of us anyway). And I'm glad for the people on here who feel confident enough to go and socialize with the band - its their choice - and its got sod all to do with you what anyone else chooses to do!!!

Did I just get edgy ????? Is that the reaction you wanted ?????

Classic move: slam somebody then criticize them for being touchy.

Good one ballywho. Nobody has the right to tell anybody how to be a fan or what to feel.

I'll second that and not as a knock against Coldplay fans. It would be great to see them come out with something different and turn some heads, but I guess being edgy is for the young with seemingly nothing to lose. Now they have bills to pay and a legacy to leave. I think all bands that last this long get comfortable don't they. You pretty much know what the album will sound like before it comes out.

I've said before that I'd love for them to make an album that the fans hate when it comes out. Chances are it would be a classic.
