USA (and Canada) Ocean Rain gigs and as much as I like to bitch and moan I will be in attendance for any L.A. shows.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Although this time I plan on not getting nearly as drunk as NY. I don't remember any opening band or opening set and the OR set was marred by some hooligan shouting "Dance you old fuckers! Dance!"

Then we cuddled.

You'll have to ask the Brits.

I avoided NY till the OR show and I loved every minute of it. Wish I had gone sooner.

There is that. I wonder if these OR shows will be with an orchestra or just the OR setlist.

I was overwhelmed at first. There is so much going on, so many people it was amazing. And contrary to what I was led to believe the people were very nice. The chicks were hot. The dudes only slightly better looking than me.

Mr. Brian and I were freaking on the taxi ride. People were milimeters from being run over and it only scared me and Brian. It's hard to describe the excitement I felt. We got lost on the subway, had late night McDonalds cause we were lost for so long we got hungry again, we drank non-stop. So the city itself was amazing. Then all the cool Bunnymen fans we met with. The Bunnymen tribute the day before the gig was so rad. Free booze, go go dancers and all Bunnymen tunes. The show itself completely proved me wrong about Mac and the band. They were in amazing form and I am very thankful I made the trip.

My only worry is I've set some pretty high expectations for NY and future OR shows.

I met an assassin for hire in the men's room at RCMH. Wait, that doesn't sound right.

An assassin for hire with no sense of humor.

Sounds great - most of my Bunny friends are American and Id like to meet them on home soil.

Not to mention the Brits in the bathroom with no sense of humour.
The assassin was in the velvet powder area. Of the men's room.
